‘Dancing With the Stars’ semifinals, ‘The Voice’ playoffs

“Monday Night Football” (5:15 p.m., ESPN): Two teams struggling through dismal seasons meet tonight as the San Francisco 49ers (2-7) host the New York Giants (2-7) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. At leas the 49ers come in on a good note after thrashing their Bay Area rivals the Oakland Raiders, 34-3. That game saw the emergence of third-string quarterback Nick Mullens, who will be trying to show that it wasn’t a fluke.

“Dancing With the Stars” (8 p.m., ABC): We’re getting ever so closer to finding out who this season’s champion will be. Tonight, the six remaining couples advance to the semifinals as the competition heats up in anticipation of next week’s crowning of the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

“The Voice” 8 p.m., NBC): The preliminary rounds are over on and it’s time to get down to Night 1 of the “playoffs.” The Top 24 artists begin performing live in front of coaches Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

“Magnum P.I.” (9 p.m., CBS): A man dying of lymphoma hires Magnum to find his estranged, bone-marrow-compatible brother who turns out to need Magnum’s help as well. Also, Magnum’s case brings back haunted memories for the guys of a past SEAL team mission that went sideways.

“The Good Doctor” (10 p.m., ABC): Dr. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Morgan Reznick must contend with two brothers who are bargaining over life and death. Meanwhile, Dr. Claire Brown’s friend who is dying of cancer asks her for something she doesn’t think she can give her; and Dr. Aaron Glassman is dealing with the effects of his treatment.
