‘Ellen’s Game of Games Holiday Spectacular’

TV picks for Wednesday, Dec. 12

WATCH THIS:

“Ellen’s Game of Game Holiday Spectacular” (8 p.m., NBC): Ellen DeGeneres mixes laughably naughty with playfully nice in this special edition. Get ready for a festive night of fun and hilarious games including “It’s a Wonderful Wife,” “Danger Word,” “Blindfolded Musical Packages,” “Dizzy Dasher,” “Know or Go” and “Hot Hands.”

“The Goldbergs” (8 p.m., ABC): Much to Beverly’s chagrin, Barry is thrilled that he gets to celebrate Christmas now that he is engaged to Lainey. Meanwhile, Murray’s brother Marvin (Dan Fogler) makes a promise to Adam with a surprising outcome.

“All American” (9 p.m., The CW): Beverly has their big Homecoming game and the pressure is on. Post-dance, Spencer is feeling the weight of the effects of his arrival at Beverly — as well as his departure from Crenshaw — and tries to set things right. Meanwhile, Billy tries to bring together his team for a win that will send them to the district playoffs for the first time since he became head coach. But he discovers doing what’s right and winning aren’t always the same thing.

“Criminal Minds” (10 p.m., CBS): A professor from Lewis’ past tips off the BAU to an alarming number of overdose deaths of patients who just completed rehab. Series star Aisha Tyler directed the episode.

“A Million Little Things” (10 p.m., ABC):  With the holidays quickly approaching, Delilah struggles with telling Sophie and Danny about her pregnancy; and although Jon’s absence makes this time of year especially difficult, the gang comes together to help the Dixons embrace the Christmas spirit.

“Little Big Holiday Special” (10 p.m., NBC): The Steve Harvey-hosted series returns to celebrate the holiday season with fan-favorite acts that include music powerhouses like Angelica Hale and Miles Caton, the adorable best friends Buddy and Reagan and surprises that are aimed at inspiring holiday cheer for all.
