Red and Black Girls Basketball Skills Development Clinic: Clinic for 4th-8th grade girls interested in improving fundamental basketball skills will be held at Salesian College Preparatory Gym in Richmond on June 8. BAYFF Learn Fly Fishing: Event hosted by Bay Area Youth Fly Fishers, for ages 9-12, at Los Gatos Creek County Park on May 11, from 8:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Kids will learn fly casting, fly tying, and knot tying and will learn about insects and conservation. Chris Korich, 12x national casting champion and US team coach, and instructors from multiple Bay area fly fishing clubs will provide one instructor per two students. $10 per child, adults are free (space limited to 24 total). Red Devil Golf Classic: The annual golf tournament, in which proceeds go to help academic and athletic programs at Mt. Diablo High School, will be held on June 28 at Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord. Registration starts at 11 a.m., followed by lunch, golf, dinner and raffle/silent auction.
