The original Geordie Shore cast member has opened up on his thoughts about having a “normal” life after he was ridiculed by a Twitter user.
Renowned from getting drunk and partying on TV, Gary Beadle was unforgettable from the series, and fans were heartbroken when he left.
Gary announced his departure when he confirmed his girlfriend Emma McVey was pregnant, and after years of his on-again, off-again relationship with Charlotte Crosby, he left his Geordie Shore life behind.
Almost two years after his exit, Gary has taken to Twitter to slam the show and gush over his new life with his girlfriend and son.
“If only you knew how nice it felt to be irrelevant”
A Twitter user wrote to him: “Feel so bad for @GazGShore he’s so irrelevant these days, nothing but video games and babies. Sucks to be you bro.”
Gary quickly chirped back: “If only you knew how nice it felt to be irrelevant.
“[I] spent 7/8 years being a little puppet to management and TV producers.
“Being normal and having a family is actually amazing. Oh, and not to mention the stuff I invested in all paid off so I can enjoy it. But yeah, thanks.”
Gary’s relationship with Charlotte gained lots of loyal fans with many viewers tuning in to find out the latest on their romance.
However, after one final blowout argument with Gaz and Charlotte, the babe ditched the show without a final goodbye.
Shortly after, Gary announced he was leaving on the show, and the original cast slowly dropped off.
Sophie Kasaei was the final original left in the house, though she confirmed she’d be leaving in the last series.
The TV show, which saw the rise of some of our favourite celebs including Vicky Pattison, Chloe Ferry and Marnie Simpson, has taken on a new group of Geordies.
Geordie Shore is still going strong, though the fans of the original cast have grown with the stars, following their journeys outside of the house.
A reunion series, following the former cast members and their new lives has since been announced by MTV.
When contacted by Daily Star Online, MTV declined to comment.
