FAIRFIELD — A report of a gun on campus led to the citing of an adult and the arrest of two juveniles Thursday, Fairfield police said in a news release.

Resource officers responded to an undisclosed high school and worked with the Fairfield Suisun Unified School District in removing the student reportedly involved from class, but it was determined that there was no firearm in the student’s possession.

“The SRO also obtained information that the student was going to go to another High School campus after school to confront a student he had a previous altercation with,” police said.

Campus officers James Lewis and Josh Bender were in the area as school let out at 2:50 p.m. and the student was seen getting into a gold sedan.

There were five juveniles, including the student mentioned in the report, and one adult.

They pulled the car over for illegal window tint and conducted a search that turned up a “replica Glock semi-automatic handgun with no serial number, it had a loaded magazine inserted.” The gun was illegally possessed, police said.
