SuperM visits on Super Bowl Sunday

Here are your best bets for live music this week, highlighted by a performance from a superstar K-pop act.


Sure, it’s Super Bowl Sunday. And the Niners are in the big game. But thousands of music lovers will ignore all that and head straight to the SAP Center in San Jose on Feb. 2 to see SuperM.

The South Korean K-pop super group features members of four different SM Entertainment acts – Shinee, Exo, NCT 127 and WayV – and is touring in support of its self-titled EP, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in October.

The Irish singer-songwriter visits the Masonic in San Francisco on Jan. 30 in support of the recently released major-label debut “Without Fear,” which features the popular folk-pop single “Outnumbered.”
